Scouts provides young Aussies aged 5 to 25 with fun and challenging opportunities to grow through adventure.

With over 17,000 youth and adult members from various cultural and religious backgrounds and with varying abilities, Scouts is one of the largest and most successful youth organisations in NSW.

Today’s Scouts can take part in an extraordinary variety of outdoor activities, from ‘traditional Scouting skills’ such as camping and bush craft, through to more extreme challenges such as abseiling, overnight hiking, rafting, canoeing, canyoning, snow activities, rock climbing, sailing and even flying! Scouts also have the opportunity to become involved in performing arts, leadership development, community service, amateur radio operation, environmental projects, large-scale Australian events such as Cuborees, Jamborees and Ventures, international events, and service projects in developing countries.

At Scouts, we put the needs of young people first. Our youth led, adult supported approach ensures our youth members are always at the forefront of our program and gives them the platform to take a constructive place in society as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

2nd Casino Scout Group

Welcome to 2nd Casino Scout Group, where adventure begins and memories are made! We proudly offer three sections tailored to different age groups, providing fun, skills, and lifelong friendships:

  • Joeys: For our youngest adventurers, Joeys is all about curiosity and discovery. Kids aged 5–7 enjoy exciting activities like games, crafts, and outdoor exploration, building confidence and teamwork skills.

  • Cubs: Geared towards 8–11 year-olds, Cubs dive into hands-on challenges and adventures. From bushcraft to community projects, they develop resilience, leadership, and a sense of responsibility.

  • Scouts: Designed for youth aged 11–15, Scouts is all about exploring independence and taking on larger adventures. Whether it's camping, hiking, or leadership opportunities, Scouts learn vital skills for life.
